I'm moving in the near future, and I have a good deal of stuff in need of a new home. Any of the stuff on this list that people don't take is going to end up in some combination of Goodwill and a dumpster, so please take any of it that you want!
I've got:
One TV: Magnavox 29" CRT Edit: Claimed by troglodyteking
An assortment of wines and liquors, some of them quite good, some of them fairly dubious. Edit: The remains are claimed by troglodyteking
One vertical CD rack
One set of fireplace tools
One double cassette / radio player (boom box)
One Sony 15" CRT monitor
1 small vacuum cleaner
Pick it up and it's yours. People in the Bay Area will probably be more interested in this than other people, since I really doubt any of it is worth a long trip.
I have put them in a separate pile from everything just so that they don't get lost. I was thinking that I could get them to you at the wedding or at one of the events related to it?
Region 1 I think, but I've never tried sticking other regions in it -- some that claim R1 are actually R0. And I am most definitely getting rid of it, so if you want it it's yours.
The packrat in me goes, "Me, me! I'll take your stuff!", but the prudent part of me recognizes that, 1) I really need to stifle that packrat sometimes and 2) I'm a college student.
I'll be back in the area in a couple days, but without a car, or really probably much of anywhere to put stuff. But if nobody claims the TV or whatever alcohol is left, I'll borrow somebody's car and take them them off your hands. A friend of mine got me a bottle of araq from Israel, but I have no idea whether or not it was good araq. It was tasty enough, though.
I'd say that this araq is probably the second-best in the world. The best in the world is produced in the Bekaa Valley in Lebanon, and so is a mite hard to get one's hands on around now. :) When will you be around?
My flight is Thursday. I could probably steal somebody's car on Friday and swing by. You're somewheres in Mountain View, eh? Any luck with finding good serfs (or any for that matter)?

Then again, we could just wander over this evening with it and take our pick. Will you be around?

Mine is still kicking around in my office at work, not hooked up to anything, emitting a sanity-grating whine when run at 60Hz.

That aside - I love purging material crap. I actually feel lighter afterward.

P.S. I'll be a foster-Dad soon. Cool stuff. :)
